2011 "How to Apply" Grant Workshop

The Virgin Islands Council on the Arts (VICA) is conducting a series of "How to Apply" workshops for the August 31, 2011 grant submission deadline. Information on project and budget development will be discussed in detail. First time applicants are encouraged to attend.

First Annual Young Emerging Artist Honors (YEAH)

Virgin Islands Council on the Arts (VICA) is pleased to announce the establishment of its first annual award to recognize and celebrate the achievements of young artists in the Territory. The deadline for Young Emerging Artist Honors (YEAH) will be on April 29, 2011. Awards will be given out to ten (10) eighth graders and ten (10) twelfth graders who have shown exemplary and innovative talents in the arts. Awards range from two to five hundred dollars. Often times the council is asked to recommend artists for projects or performances; we have therefore developed an Artist Registry which is used as a referral tool. It also functions as our mailing list and a readily available source of contact with you.
